The Lab

A multi-functional, and multi-genre immersive performance space that supports art and culture while leading it in entirely new directions.

The Lab has 50 square metres (That’s 14 million pixels..) of LED screens and is curated to ensure a full range of artists will present their creations, from digital sculptors, bands and DJs, to theatre, dance and classical recitals.

Head of Programming is led by Anne Wiberg, where curation considers diversity, creativity, and prioritising exciting new ideas above standing reputations. In addition to scheduled performances, The Lab also facilitates experimentation, allowing artists time and access to play with new ideas and develop new work.

Light ADL creates opportunities for artists and enables them to work with our cutting-edge technology and develop new ways of engaging with audiences. As a not-for-profit and social enterprise, all profits generated through through your hospitality and events are invested back and has enabled us to support over 600 artists and counting.

The Lab can be booked exclusively for private events and can transport you and your guests to any world, real or imagined! The Lab can be configured in a range of formats to suit the occasion and features a stunning bar. Ideal for celebrations, private functions, presentations, corporate events and brand launches, weddings and parties.

Entry to The Lab is through Beags, an outdoor bar surrounded by greenery with lush plantings and timber booths for pre-show drinks and after-party vibes.
